About Me

Teaching and teaching At-Risk teens

Hi ,I’m Donna Pfannenstiel, and I am an At-Risk teacher in an alternative school setting, located in-small town Missouri.  In August, I will began my 22nd year as an educator; my 19th year as a high school At-Risk credit recovery teacher.

That’s my day job.

I am also a budding author, with my first book (non-fiction), Going Off Center–Observations from an At-Risk Teacher, currently at the publishers, and my second book (fiction) in progress.  More about that later.

I live with Bill, my husband of 42 years, along with two cats–Ally and Shelly.
